We are in the Canyon of San Juan, the last station of the Tram to Sierra Nevada.
At this point, the culmination of this major infrastructure was to be the construction of a funicular to join this landscape with ski slopes of Sierra Nevada at 2,200 meters altitude. This project never came to fruition.
But perhaps most importantly, this place is the starting point of the famous “Vereda de la Estrella” route.
